Education, disability and hardship grant provider serving the Sittingbourne community

The William Barrow’s Charity provides grants for the relief of persons, in particular but not exclusively, resident in the Parochial Parish of Borden who are in need, hardship or distress. Priority is given to those aged 60 years or more and grants to students residing in the Parochial Parish of Borden to assist with education. The Charity further provides further grants offering support to local schools which are not provided by statutory authorities.

The William Barrow’s Charity provides grants to students residing in the Parochial Parish of Borden in Swale, to assist with education and hardship under the Educational and Eleemosynary Foundations.

Under the Educational Foundation, students must be under the age of 25 and in full-time education. Priority is given to students attending tertiary education following completion of their secondary education.

Under the Eleemosynary Foundation, the trustees consider grants for the relief of persons resident in the Parochial Parish of Borden who are in need, hardship or distress. Priority is given to those aged 60 years or more.
